WorldThought is a live globe of anonymous thoughts, tied to the country you're posting from. Tap any country to read what people there are thinking right now, no account required to browse. You can browse the live globe from any browser — no app required. Posting a thought does require the WorldThought app for iOS or Android, since it uses on-device GPS verification the app performs. To post, allow location access when prompted. We reverse-geocode your position on-device to verify your country; your exact coordinates never reach our servers. Each account can post once per country per 8-hour window (windows reset at 00:00, 08:00, and 16:00 UTC). Thoughts are truly anonymous: no usernames, no avatars, no follower counts. Every post is identified only by a random color.
Signing in uses a one-time email code through Supabase, so there's no password to remember. Your email is used only for authentication and is never shown next to anything you post. To delete your account and all associated data, go to Settings → Delete Account in the app, or email support@worldthought.app and we'll take care of it. When a thought's 8-hour window ends it disappears from the app, though it may be retained briefly in our database for safety and moderation purposes.
If you see something that violates our Terms of Service, or you've hit a bug, open Settings → Feedback in the app and choose Feedback or Bug Report. Include as much detail as you can: screenshots, what you expected to happen, and what happened instead all help us fix things faster. For anything urgent or safety-related, email support@worldthought.app directly and we'll respond as soon as we can.
"You've already posted this window": each account can only post once per country per 8-hour window. Wait for the next reset (00:00, 08:00, or 16:00 UTC) or post from a different country you're physically in. Location permission denied: WorldThought only asks for location when you tap to post, and only uses it to verify your country. If you declined the prompt, re-enable location access for the app in your device's system settings. Thoughts not updating: the web viewer refreshes every few seconds; if it looks stuck, reload the page. If the problem persists, let us know via Feedback in the app or by email.
